Our History
The Coldstream Football Club was founded in 1890 playing in local derbies against other teams in the region. In 1903 we entered our first team into an organised competition in which Healesville publican Con Dwyer put up a trophy to be fought between 4 clubs - Coldstream, Lilydale, Yarra Glen and Healesville. Unfortunately we were unable to win a game that season and would not field another team in an organised competition until 1911.

In 1911 Halley Supple was elected president of the club and we entered a team into another local competition in which we would play against Healesville, Lilydale, Yarra Glen and Coranderrk. Teams would compete for the Stevens Trophy which was put up by the owner of the Olinda Creek Hotel Lilydale, and each team would play each other 3 times with no finals. In later years the ground we now play at would be named after the president of this time giving birth to the Halley Supple Reserve.

During the 1914 season, Coldstream had to forfeit our season, as a number of our leading players had left the club.
.
In April, 1915, the club held it's AGM and it was decided that Coldstream would re-enter a senior team, however the very next day Australian troops landed in Gallipoli. This resulted in many teams missing players due to them fighting on the frontline. The club decided that we would combine with Yarra Glen (as they did not have enough players to field a team either) but unfortunately the season was called off early due to the war.
This pattern of on again off again continued on through the war years and in 1952 The Coldstream Football Club officially entered what is now known as the Eastern Football Netball League wearing a navy blue jumper with the CFC logo in the middle of it. The logo was changed when we ended up in the same division as Croydon who had the same design and the Big V was born.
SInce then we have won 10 men's football premierships, 4 netball premierships, and have had numerous players drafted to the VFL/AFL and recognised with league awards.
In 2017 the club expanded to include netball teams for the first time and consequently officially changed its name to the Coldstream Football & Netball Club in 2018. This was also the inaugral year for our VETS and Senior Womens Sides.
